Tommaso Romanò presents his procedural ivy generator for Unity. The tendril paths are generated using raycasts, while the surfaces are generated using normal vectors. The ivy generator’s many setting options allow you to adjust the colour and path to your own preferences. If you want to go into more detail, we recommend Tommaso’s tutorial series, in which he explains how he created the branches. In another video, also below, Tammaso shows how ivy can be used to create comfortable bridges.
