While the iPad remains the darling of generalists and influencers, the MovinkPad 11 doubles down on a focused sketching experience. Boot the device, and you’re instantly in Wacom Canvas (their new drawing app), with a “Quick Draw” feature that lets you wake-and-sketch by just tapping the screen with the pen. If you’d rather use Clip Studio Paint, you’ll find a 2-year license for Clip Studio Paint DEBUT included.

The device has been tailored to the needs of creative professionals such as 2D illustrators, 3D modellers, animators, game developers and virtual production artists.

In toto: The latest pen display from Wacom was developed by digital artists and content creation teams. It combines pen and touch technology with high-quality screen and colour performance. Compared to the Cine Pro 24, the Cintiq Pro 27 takes up less space and is lighter. At the same time, Wacom is introducing the Pro Pen 3, which can be customised in terms of grip strength, weight and weight distribution. • Pro Pen 3: Grip strength, weight and weight distribution of the pen can be customised. There is also improved tilt detection. Like its predecessors, the Pro Pen 3 is also equipped with EMR (electromagnetic resonance) technology – with 8,192 pressure levels and battery-free operation. The pen has three programmable side switches that can be assigned to software shortcuts.

• The developers have also focussed on comfort functions and user-definability – including a display on the back of the pen: A total of eight ExpressKeys have been placed on the back of the display, four on each side, so that users can quickly access frequently used commands. An expandable frame with a small storage area has also been added. This is suitable for storing a keyboard or smartphone, for example. The new stand is also versatilely adjustable, allowing the screen to be rotated by /- 20 degrees. Users can also choose to use stand solutions from other providers.
