FMX, Articles and what's happening at DP .
So, we are getting back into the groove, just after FMX - and what an FMX it has been! If you missed some talks, the VOD-area is up, and you can EASILY have a great talk every evening (Instead of TV) for the next couple of weeks.
Since it was my 15th FMX (Counting the virtual one during Covid), I feel like furniture, and having seen pictures of myself from the first one I attended in 2009, I do look like a beanbag-couch.
Jokes aside: It's always the "place to be", and there are a load of stories coming up: Dune Prophecy, West world, Cityengie, InstaMAT, Black point, Zeiss, Mental Health, an artists collective, Matchmoving Tipps, and Many More.
Even though the overall mood was great, the industry is currently "Waiting for autumn", when new jobs are expected to roll in, and some analysts are looking positively into a currently gloomy future. Let's see what happens.
In the meantime, there is something new on the DIGITAL PRODUCTION Site: Because of internal "founding/startup-shenanigans" the Subscribers Area is up, and the area for subscribers is ready - or should be, I'm no web designer.
There you'll find the Complete Archive of PDFs going all the way back to 2007 (Just downloads, no additional Apps, no DRM), exclusive articles, access to all the already translated article and much more in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for that, it's going to be awesome!
And because I'm trying to have the Digital Production available for everybody, the first 3 Articles you come too through Google or whatever are free, If you do decide to subscribe, you get a three-day trial before anything happens. We ALL have been trapped in subscriptions that overpromised and underdelivered.
