29.11.2009
New perspectives on 1 Advent: On 29 November, the SAE Institute, the international training institution in the fields of audio, digital film & animation, web design & development and interactive entertainment (Qantm Institute), will provide interested parties with insights and information about SAE, the individual training programmes and possible careers such as web developer, game developer, 3D artist or sound designer.
New degree programme in 2010: “Digital Journalist”
From 2 p.m., lecturers, students and institute directors will be available at all seven institutes to answer any questions about training at the SAE Institute. There will also be guided tours of the institutes and studios, lectures and demonstrations of the equipment and presentations of student projects. There will also be initial information on the new “Digital Journalist” degree programme: In addition to journalistic training, the course offers technical expertise in the fields of multimedia, film and audio. Students learn the tools to prepare their information in a wide range of formats with multimedia content for various news channels.
Creative and practice-orientated
School leavers from the age of 16 and with a secondary school leaving certificate can train to become multimedia all-rounders. SAE focuses on innovative methods of knowledge transfer, state-of-the-art equipment and, above all, practical orientation and training of creative skills. The SAE diploma can be obtained after just one year, with which nothing stands in the way of starting a job. A Bachelor’s degree is possible after a further year, followed by a Master’s degree.
