With Modo, The Foundry now has enough software to put together a Creative Suite – and they have now done so. Similar to the suites from Adobe or Autodesk, the Foundry products are now available in two variants “as a package” – although not declared as a suite, but as a “Collective”
These two versions are: The “Production Collective” with NukeX, Modo, Mari and Hiero, which you can get node-locked or as a floating licence for 7,200 euros – excluding VAT. The smaller version is the “Creation Collective”, which comes with Modo, Mari and the Hiero Player and is available for 1,860 euros (according to The Foundry).
The other circumstances are that you get all upgrades and support by phone or email for one year. Anyone who already has individual licences from the Collectives should contact The Foundry directly for a quote. And here is another video from The Foundry, in which the Collectives are explained again with illustrated partially textured primitives.
