The Australian-American Netflix film Penguin Bloom, based on the book of the same name by Cameron Bloom and Bradley Trevor Greive, tells the story of a woman who becomes a wheelchair user after an accident; she then struggles with herself and her new circumstances, but soon regains her courage to face life after taking in and caring for an injured flute bird.
