How does procedural modelling work in Unity?

Want to improve your game development skills with Unity? Then you should follow this Twitter profile!

In nuce: The game developer named Joyen shares an approach via Twitter with which you can procedurally generate interiors with Unity.

What’s behind this? In the reactions to Joyen’s Twitter posts, she/he answers questions about the creation process. According to Joyen, Unity’s skeleton algorithm (straight skeleton algorithm) served as the starting point. It goes on to say that the spatial polygons were split up to prevent the assets from colliding with each other. The game developer also comments that he plans to create only those objects from inside the house that are in the immediate vicinity of the player. Joycen also says that some parts of the building roof are to be made multithreaded in order to avoid the tiny freezes that still occur in places.

Our verdict: click command! If you want to find out more about how game development works with Unity, we can only recommend that you regularly visit Joyen’s Twitter profile . Joyen also demonstrates on a YouTube channel how game development works in Unity, using procedurally generated bridges and towers (see below).
