In nuce: Software developer EmberGen recently used a Twitter video to demonstrate the realistic flames that the volumetric simulation tool JangaFX is capable of. EmberGen is a real-time GPU-based tool with which you can simulate fire, explosions, smoke and other particle effects.

We reported last: We last reported on EmberGen in October 2021, when version 0.7.5 went into pre-release. The pre-release at that time was accompanied by various attractive features – including an improved export function, a revamped user interface, a new renderer and twenty new presets.
