In nuce: The architecture pro and Blender enthusiast Bagattini Antoine demonstrates his tree generator, which he created with the alpha version of Blender 3.2, via several Twitter posts. One drawback up front: so far, Bagattini has refrained from making his attractive tree generator accessible to the community.
What is behind this? Without the latest release, this tree generator would probably not have been possible in its current form, as Bagattini primarily made use of the geometry node, which was only added with the release of Blender 3.0. Bagattini Antoine’s tree generator was created on the basis of a tree trunk read in via photoscan. Based on this, Bagattini created the branches and leaves via a node network.
Click further: As mentioned at the beginning, the generator is unfortunately not available for you until developer Bagattini Antoine changes his mind. What the accomplished architect and busy Blender fanboy Bagattini would like to share with the community in the near future, however, is an 80-piece asset package containing trees that he has created with his generator. The assets will soon be accessible via his Gumroad page . To get in touch, you can connect with the man behind this tree generator for Blender on Artstation, Twitter and Instagram .
