In nuce: Blender, the egg-laying wool-milk sow of DCC tools, doesn’t want to do compositing the way you do? Then there’s a remedy waiting for you, because Antoine Bagattini has published a preview that speaks for itself. It shows a new Blender add-on that Antoine and his team are currently working on. The add-on is intended to simplify the handling of Blender’s compositor – thanks to numerous new presets (e.g. pink, green, dark green or gold). Users will also be able to create and save their own presets. See Antoine’s Twitter post below.
Who is Antoine Bagattini? Antoine specialises in architectural visualisation and computer-generated environments – he also creates add-ons. You can follow the artist’s work on ArtStation, Gumroad or Twitter. On the latter, Antoine also provides information about the progress of his Blender add-on – see also the following post (at the bottom). It was on 9 December last year that we last tweeted Antoine. At that time he published his procedural ivy generator for Blender.
Blender in version 3.3: It was only on Monday that we reported on the beta phase of Blender 3.3 – or rather on the associated release, which is due at the beginning of September. And on 11.07.2022 we reported on the release of Blender 3.2.1, with which The Blender Foundation made many bug fixes.
