In nuce: The girls and boys from Trixter have released a showreel for the streaming series Ms Marvel. An outline of the personnel involved in the series: Bilall Fallah, who also directed the comedy action sequel Bad Boys for Life, has been hired as director-slash-executive producer. The titular superheroine Kamala Khan, aka Ms Marvel, is played by actress Iman Vellani. The head writer of the series is British-Pakistani Bisha K. Ali, who has previously made a name for herself as a stand-up comedian and co-author of the series Sex Education.
Clicked on: Munich-based VFX studio Trixter already made the acquaintance of “Marvel”-style superheroines on 9 July 2019 – back then it was the feature film Captain Marvel that set Trixter’s pipeline ablaze.
