Men’s specialist channel DMAX and Cologne media company Sevenload have announced a partnership. DMAX formats including Die Ludolfs and D Motor are now available to every user through a dedicated branded channel at Sevenload. The cross-platform cooperation is intended to reach new target groups and expand both partners’ reach across media. Further DMAX formats are already planned.
“The partnership between DMAX and Sevenload shows that television formats are increasingly distributed over the internet,” said Sevenload COO Andreas Heyden. “Branded channels are the ideal offering for television broadcasters seeking a cross-media presence.” He said the format combines proximity to advertising-relevant audiences with high interactivity.
“The branded channel at Sevenload is another step in our digital brand strategy, increasing our reach and opening new potential within DMAX’s core audience,” said Nicole Agudo Berbel, Director of Affiliate Sales at Discovery Networks Germany. “It gives our internet-oriented viewers another way to watch the most popular DMAX original productions.” The DMAX website currently points to PC-TV provider Zattoo, which also carries the channel but requires users to download client software.
The new branded channel launches today at http://www.sevenload.de/dmax with a selection of successful DMAX productions. The interactive WebTV formats are available free of charge to all Sevenload users.
