TANDBERG demonstrated a live Full HD 1080p video call at 60 frames per second with its FluidHD technology during VoiceCon. The company positioned the result as a new benchmark for visual resolution and motion in telepresence and video conferencing.

“The 1080p60 demonstration again illustrates TANDBERG’s technology leadership in natural communication without technical restrictions,” said Thomas Nicolaus, Managing Director of TANDBERG Central Europe. “No video-conferencing or telepresence supplier had previously demonstrated a live video call with this degree of fluid motion and detail. FluidHD will improve applications including healthcare and industry, where video communication requires strong detail and motion reproduction, and it establishes a new standard for future conferencing and telepresence technology.”

TANDBERG described FluidHD as an extension of its video-conferencing, telepresence, and infrastructure technology.
