In February, Sony Professional World 2009 presented the company’s complete professional line-up in three German cities. More than 1,000 visitors attended events in Cologne, Berlin and Munich. Sony therefore added a Stuttgart date on June 9 at the new Mercedes-Benz Museum, presenting media and broadcast, presentation and digital-signage, and videoconferencing applications. The Sony Professional Solutions team also offered individual project consultation.

The event centred on an application-oriented exhibition demonstrating networked image systems. Broadcast and digital-cinematography areas focused on IT-based workflows and high-quality HD production. A simulated studio showed high-end television and film cameras, while a networked live HD production demonstrated MVS switchers and TRIMASTER™ monitors. Recent NAB highlights were also expected.

For retail and points of sale, Sony presented public displays and digital-signage solutions. Multimedia conference-room technology included business projectors and videoconferencing systems from SD to HD.

Sony Professional World at the Mercedes-Benz Museum was open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Further information and electronic registration were available at http://www.sonybiz.net.
