Keen Tools has recently released FaceBuilder – a plug-in for Nuke to quickly create a textured 3D model of a human head from photographs or videos. The tool lets the user align and deform a base mesh and then generates the textured 3D model of the respective head.

FaceBuilder is currently available in beta and as part of the Keen Tools Plug-in Suite, which also includes GeoTracker and PinTool. You can either purchase the plug-in as a 15-day trial version or for the equivalent of €130. Versions 8 to 10.5 of Nuke are supported.
