We Suck Less (WSL) has released Reactor, a free third-party manager for Blackmagic Fusion 9. Anyone who has struggled with the number of scripts and plug-ins up to now will be pleased with this tool. WSL brought along an appropriately upbeat release video for it.
What Is Reactor?
Reactor is an open-source package manager for both versions of Blackmagic Design’s Fusion compositing tool (free and Studio). With the manager, you can now handle installation and management of your third-party content for Fusion in one place. After installation, it can easily be added via Reactor’s “Atomizer.” The initial version comes with a starter pack that already includes various useful plug-ins:
- Cryptomatte implementation for Fusion
- Krokodove plug-ins
- Fusion 3D Water setup
- Muse VFX Tool Collection
- KAK, Time Machine and Tracker extensions

You can find further information about the manager here and in the forum that was created.
Download & Installation
The free download includes the Reactor-Installer.lua script, which you only need to drag & drop into Fusion. You can find a deatilled guide here. The tool is compatible with Fusion versions 9.0.2 or higher for Mac, Windows and Linux.
