In nuce: Freelance technical artist Simon Verstraete has published a new video tutorial about Houdini. In the almost twelve-minute video, Simon explains how artists can create a curves tool in Houdini and export the curves created to Unreal Engine 5 – Simon also talks about the practical benefits of this approach. According to Simon, the approach can be useful for creating a road network or mapping pedestrians strolling around. Simon Verstraete is an alumnus of Digital Arts and Entertainment, where he studied Game Graphics for his Bachelor’s degree.
