In nuce: The production studio Goodbye Kansas has released a VFX breakdown for the upcoming video game Dune: Awakening. Goodbye Kansas realised the announcement trailer for the MMO (massively multiplayer online game) (see below).
In toto: Dune: Awakening is based on both the original book by author Frank Herbert and the latest film adaptation by director Denis Villeneuve. The video game is currently in development at the Norwegian company Funcom , which is also responsible for the games Conan Exiles, Dune: Spice Wars, Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden, Moons of Madness, The Longest Journey and Dreamfall: The Longest Journey .
