BaseGrade and the evolution of colour grading

At NAB 2O16, colour grading specialist Filmlight caused quite a stir in the colourist scene. BaseGrade - a completely newly developed grading operator for Baselight - was presented, which is intended to replace classic tools such as Lift, Gamma and Gain. That sounds like a small revolution. Filmlight promises more consistent results and a more natural way of working. Reason enough not only for Baselight colourists to take a detailed look at it.

DP Intensive Seminar: On Air Design and Production Workflow in Cinema 4D

The first seminar day "Motion Graphics and On Air Design" provides a detailed overview of the conception and production steps through to finished on-air design and motion graphics projects using practical and real production examples. The workflow within the production plays an important role. Cinema 4D and After Effects are predominantly used. Speakers: Klemens Ehret and Christian Roggy On the second day of the seminar, the individual work processes (including Mograph, BodyPaint), the project organisation and, of course, the production workflow will be described using a real production (BMW Spot).
