Adobe has acquired video software specialist Serious Magic, which is also based in California. The company offers both semi-professional products such as the video-blog solution “Vlog It!” and products for the professional video market, such as the direct-to-disk recording and monitoring software “DV Rack 2.0”.
According to Adobe, nothing is intended to change for customers initially, but in the medium term an integration of Serious Magic technologies into the Adobe product range is planned.
