Lasseter has worked at Pixar Animation Studios for many years and was, among other things, responsible as director for the first feature-length computer-controlled animated film in film history, "Toy Story". John Lasseter, who also produced Pixar’s biggest box-office hits such as "Cars", "Monsters, Inc." and "Finding Nemo", began his career at Disney.
Today, many viewers see him as Walt Disney’s successor, who gave dusty animated films a new face. Actor Owen Wilson, among others, attended the Walk of Fame Ceremony and gave a speech for the filmmaker, who likes to appear in Hawaiian shirts.
