In nuce: Blackmagic Design is lowering the prices of its DaVinci Resolve range. This will affect all colour correction panels and editor keyboards, including DaVinci Resolve Studio. However, the DaVinci Resolve Speed Editor package is no longer available and will now be offered as a standalone product rather than as an add-on to DaVinci Resolve Studio.
The new prices at a glance: DaVinci Resolve (free), DaVinci Resolve Studio (US$295), DaVinci Resolve Speed Editor (US$395), DaVinci Resolve Editor Keyboard (US$595), DaVinci Resolve Micro Panel (US$795), DaVinci Resolve Mini Panel (US$1,995). According to Blackmagic Design, this means a saving of 400 US dollars for the Editor Keyboard, 200 US dollars for the Micro Panel and 1,000 US dollars for the Mini Panel. In contrast, the new version of the Speed Editor is accompanied by a price increase of 100 US dollars. All information without guarantee.
