In nuce: Blackmagic has released a double pack: Fusion Studio 18 and DaVinci Studio 18. At the same time, DaVinci Studio 18 is being released from the beta phase with this release (see below under “Click to continue”).
DaVinci Resolve Studio 18: Here are some of the most exciting new features in version 18 of DaVinci Resolve Studio. The complete list of new features can be found at blackmagicdesign.com.
- Support for Blackmagic Cloud Workflows
- The DaVinci Proxy Generator app is supported
- New Resolve FXs added: These include Surface Tracker (to add effects to moving surfaces), 3D Depth Map (to expose backgrounds and isolate objects) and Ultra Beauty mode
- Improved subtitling
- Support for Blackmagic Raw 2.6
