In nuce: Scanline VFX has released a VFX breakdown of the comic book adaptation The Batman, in which fictional grassroots politician Bella Reál pleads for “Change for Gotham”, Riddler leaves another piece of the puzzle for the Batman with a “Sins oft he Fathers”, Gotham Square Garden is flooded after an assassination attempt – and Batman himself gets into a fistfight with Riddler’s henchmen. The almost three-hour action thriller The Batman was realised by director Matt Reeves (Cloverfield, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, War for the Planet of the Apes); Reeves was assisted on the screenplay by screenwriter and novelist Peter Craig (The Hunger Games 1 & 2, Bad Boys for Life, Top Gun: Maverick, among others).
