WIND UP – Family drama on a desert island
As part of their second year of study, students from the VFX specialisation joined forces with all other departments at the Munich University of Television and Film to create a short film. This ambitious project combines various disciplines of the HFF and tells a dramatic story using visual effects.
The element appears in version 1.2!

Masterclass at the MUNICH INTERNATIONAL short film festival
A special highlight of the MUNICH INTERNATIONAL short film festival is the masterclass at the weekend: this year the festival has been able to win Christopher Vogler as a speaker. Vogler is one of the most important screenwriters and teachers in Hollywood. The masterclass bears the same title as his recognised standard work: "The Writer's Journey". The seminar offers the unique opportunity to experience the renowned screenwriter and script developer in person. In his seminar, Christopher Vogler provides insights into the art of screenwriting. He will demonstrate techniques on how to develop the structure of the plot and the characters. Christopher Vogler has been significantly involved in many major international productions such as KÖNIG DER LÖWEN, THE WRESTLER, P.S. YOUR CAT IS DEAD! and TILL EULENSPIEGEL.
The event will take place on Saturday and Sunday (19 and 20 June 2010 from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm) at the Gloria Palast. Registration at the early bird price of 150 euros is now possible online at www.muc-intl.de, where you will also find a detailed description of the seminar.
10th RTT Conference

1. Round Table of Bavarian Game Developers 2009
The first "Bavarian Games Developers Round Table" of the new year will take place on 4 February 2009. The aim of the round table initiated by CAM is to establish a platform for the development industry in Bavaria, on the basis of which joint measures can be developed.

Bonsai and storage workshop
During the workshop we will record, transfer and edit 4 channels in parallel and play out the result. The developer of the bonsaiDRIVE, Mr Rosendahl, will be present and give a presentation on the topic.

Munich Film Festival
FILMFEST MÜNCHEN was organised for the first time in 1983. After the Berlin Film Festival, it is the largest film festival in Germany. To date, over 1,300,000 visitors have attended.
