Information about the degree programme: On the English-language Master’s degree programme in Animation and Game Direction, you will acquire the skills you need for creative leadership roles. The Master’s programme enables its students to develop concepts and products from the first draft to market readiness, but also trains them to conduct research in the field of animation, games and immersive media.
Which subjects? The project-based and interdisciplinary study programme offers a wide range of subjects such as Animation Studies, Game Studies, Dramaturgy, Storytelling, Mise-en-Scène, Directing, Creative Producing, Art Direction and Intellectual Property Development.
Course of study: After an in-depth phase in the area of scientific and methodological skills, students take on their own directing projects, which they realise independently together with larger teams. Students can complete their Master’s thesis in cooperation with partners from industry, culture and research.
