You’ll never guess what this fantasy castle was made of!

The freelance concept artist from Iran goes for a walk – and stumbles across something that should inspire him to create an ingenious Blender project..

In nuce: If you’re looking for inspiration for your next creative project in the middle of the week, we can help: Why not click through the portfolio of freelance concept artist Ehsan Dabbaghi? His Artstation profile is crammed full of eye-catching eye candy that you can not only feast your eyes on; it also fills your own creativity. One project in particular stands out for us, which the artist has christened “Propaganda”.

What is the “Propaganda” project? No, we’re not talking about high-profile outdoor advertising. For his “Propaganda” project, Ehsan used a battered tree stump that he stumbled over while out walking – possibly more than just literally. Ehsan then said to himself “Hey! Why don’t I turn the tree stump into a mountain massif?” No sooner said than done. A photo scan was made, Blender was fired up and these six high-resolution statues were pulled out of the pipeline, and Ehsan’s impressive mountain front was ready – the likes of which could not shine more impressively in “Lord of the Rings” or “Wheel of Time”. In addition to Blender, the project was also created using Photoshop and Reality Capture.

We ask ourselves: Which everyday object worth stumbling over will you use to create your next Blender project?
