In nuce: VFX service provider Outpost VFX has published its showreel for the year 2022. It features not only stunning visual effects, but also well-known actors – when Tom Hanks gallops through the western “News of the World”, Jason Momoa stands around decoratively in the scenery, Rosamund Pike turns the “Wheel of Time”, Patrick Stewart shines in his parade role as Jean-Luc Picard, Seth MacFarlane jokes & sways his way through The Orville, Dev Patel goes all Sir Gawain and green knight, or Josh Brolin in The Orville. dev Patel plays Sir Gawain and the green knight, or Josh Brolin saddles up in the Outer Range and shoots the space western. In other words: the almost two and a half minutes of the showreel are packed full of show values.
