Plasticity 103 – Watch Modeling PT3 – Rounding / Filleting / Export

More easy hard surface modeling: In PT3 of our Plasticity series we continue the watch – with some Rounding, some Filleting, and we export the thing!
A graphic featuring a 3D wireframe model of a watch case alongside a real watch showing its red-tinted display. Text includes 'PLASTICITY 101 PART 3' and 'ROUNDING & EXPORT' with icons representing design applications.

This is the 3rd part of our Plasticity series and this video is packed to the brim. It basically contains three separate tutorials: 1 Fixing some mistakes, 2 Rounding / Beveling / Filleting our model, and then finally exporting it to a mesh format to then import into our beloved 3D software as e.g. Cinema 4D or Blender. As always I hope you have fun watching and learn something along the way!

Plasticity 101 – Modeling a Watch – Part 1

In this engaging tutorial I will walk you through the first steps in Plasticity, a CAD modeler for easy hard surface modeling. In part 1 we create the watch-case in an easy to follow fashion.

Loveletter

Who doesn’t know it: the portable games console that saw the light of day at the end of the 1980s and gave us endless hours of fun and games for many years. We are, of course, talking about the Gameboy. A time when the potential of computer-generated graphics was in its infancy. But what if…
