In nuce: The jurors of the British Animation Awards (BAA for short) have announced this year’s finalists.
More information about the British Animation Awards: The BAA honours a select few animated films that the judges feel represent the best films in a range of categories. The awards ceremony will be held at the British Film Institute Southbank (BFI Southbank) on 10 March. Linked to the ceremony in London are four other venues linked to the venue, namely Stirling, Salford, Cardiff and Bristol. This year’s BAAs will be presented by comedian and actor Miles Jupp.
Interview with Bomper Studios in DP 04 : 2021: One of the nominees is Emlyn Davies. He is the founder and Executive Creative Director of the British Bomper Studio. In DP 04 : 2021 , we spoke to Emlyn about the psychedelic music video Chasing Birds, which he realised for Bomper Studio together with his colleague and art director Josh Hicks. Emlyn and Josh have now been nominated for the same music video at the BAAs in the “Best Music Video” category. The entire interview Dancing in the Desert is available to you free of charge. We think you should read it and get down with the Foo Fighters.
