Anastasiy Safari releases Magic Tints 3

As a standalone version, but also as a plugin for Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign: Can the new convenience functions convince users?

In nuce: Last June, Anastasiy Safari released version 3 of MagicTints – the tool dedicated to adjusting colours. With just a few clicks, users should be able to transfer the colour from one image to another while retaining the original contrast and light values. MagicTints is available as a plugin for Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign – but also as a standalone version.

New functions: Below are some of the new functions that users should take a look at.

  • When users create a LUT, the associated LUT strength can be adjusted: This eliminates the need to use colour correction. This also eliminates the need to use third-party editors and create new transparency layers
  • Interruptible colour correction at any time: Users can also edit existing colour palette references or rename image references with a double-click
  • Drag-and-drop – simply adjust the colours: Select an image from the reference palette and drag it onto the target image
  • Now also supports the following image formats: PSD, SVG, TIFF and TGA
  • New features for the Photoshop plugin: Users can now optionally specify layers as a colour reference source. This function includes hidden layers
