In nuce: 3D artist Daniel Mozbäuchel has developed a new tool for Cinema 4D and the Octane Renderer that allows artists to create roads – with ease. The tool is called Road Generator. As Daniel told the editorial team, he built his materials using shaders, which is why they can be easily extended, changed or replaced. Daniel continues: “You can simply draw a spline. You can then create a small road or even an entire motorway from it. Artists can add trees or cars decoratively.” The Road Generator costs 26 euros. Daniel Mozbäuchel is a freelance 3D artist and generalist from Hanover, who also works as a beta tester and lecturer. He specialises in 3D product visualisations, technical visualisations and 3D animations.
