In nuce: Based on the release of Blender 3.1 (we reported on 15 March 2022), version 3.1 of Bforartists will also be released. This can be seen in a corresponding blog entry on bforartists.de . The new version will be accompanied by improvements to the graphical user interface and usability in conjunction with the standard version of Blender.
What does Bforartists 3.1 offer? Bforartists 3.1 includes all the improvements that the release of Blender 3.1 brought with it. In addition, Bforartists 3.1 comes with numerous bug fixes, especially those that should ensure compatibility with Blender. According to the blog entry, version 3.0.1 was only released in February of this year, which is why the number of new features in Bforartists 3.1 should be relatively small.
What is Bforartists? It is a fork for Blender, which is geared towards the needs of painting and modelling artists.
