For the first time, Quantel is presenting the new Version 2 of the cross-system generationQ software at NAB at booth C6406. One of the most important new functions is an option for graphical representation of all work processes. Especially with extensive projects, a clear overview of all tasks is indispensable. Version 2 is expected to be available for the entire generationQ product line in the coming weeks.
The generationQ product range at NAB 2004 includes:

eQ – High Definition (HD) editing system for a wide range of formats. eQ relies on Quantel’s own techique, resolution co-existence, i.e. simultaneous processing of different resolutions. For Standard Definition (SD) editing, QEdit Pro offers a good price/performance ratio. QEdit Pro runs on a Quantel-optimized PC platform.
