EIZO ColorEdge CG3100X review: Is this the last great IPS monitor?
Four months with EIZO’s 30.5-inch DCI-4K flagship reveal a superbly uniform, silent IPS monitor that leaves very little room for excuses.
Asus ProArt 16 USV: A Laptop-Sized Production Monitor
The ASUS ProArt PA16USV LED-Monitor, a 15.6-inch 4K HDR portable display that incorporates a 12G-SDI marks a significant pivot for ASUS into hardware that explicitly targets on-set workflows and DIT (digital imaging technician) monitoring tasks rather than solely desktop creative use. But is it any good?
Asus ProArt PA27UCGE: A 4K Monitor That Mostly Refuses to Be Annoying
The Asus ProArt PA27UCGE is a 27-inch 4K 10-bit IPS monitor with hardware calibration, , USB-C with 96 W Power Delivery, HDR10, 160 Hz refresh rate and a monitor hood. It is not a Class A reference monitor, but for general production work, it is annoyingly sensible.

EIZO is bringing OLED into the ColorEdge lineup. The company is previewing an OLED ColorEdge model under development, positioned for 4K HDR workflows and featuring refined ABL luminance control, a status indicator, built-in calibration sensor technology, and ColorNavigator software demos at NAB and MPTS 2026.
Huion Kamvas 13 (Gen 3): Welcome to Sensible Pen Tablets
Sometimes you just want a tablet that works without selling your workstation. That was the starting point for our test of Huion’s Kamvas 13 (Gen 3). In times where many artists keep an eye on their budgets, the idea of a small, solid, and affordable pen display is tempting. So we teamed up with Huion to see what this one could actually do.
ASUS unveils 32″ 8K HDR Mini-LED ProArt monitor. Yes, 8K.
ASUS launches its 32″ 8K HDR Mini-LED monitor, the ProArt PA32KCX with great brightness and pro-features. Not for everyone, but if you edit 8K or need huge desktop real-estate, this is serious.

ProArt PA32UCDM: The OLED Display That Thinks It’s a Reference Monitor And Dresses Like an Accountant
First impression: The ASUS ProArt PA32UCDM is the Clark Kent of displays. On your desk, it could pass for a premium, but otherwise unassuming office monitor—sleek, thin, and lightweight, with none of that over-designed “gamer” bling. But underneath?
EIZO CG3100X: The New Gold Standard for Colour-Critical Work?

„For Those Who Dare“
These days you wouldn’t always have to go for an expensive, professionally calibrated screen if you are not working for extremely demanding clients. Has the age of correct colors finally arrived? What about HDR? Let’s have a broader look!
Hardware for CineMon (et. al.)
After looking at the software side of CineMon, it's time to take a look at the hardware - whats good and what's not?

CineMon 1.0 (Beta) for iPad and Mac
The times of expensive hardware-based scopes are gone. Modern software scopes are versatile, flexible, and can be adapted to new technologies. Until now, Nobe OmniScope by Time in Pixels was the leading solution, both under Windows and MacOS. But there’s a new kid on the block for MacOS and iOS now, called CineMon (with a charming agnomination to a popular spice).

Dell U3219Q in test
As we realised a while ago, we haven't had a Dell Ultrasharp in our test for a long time, which sounds strange because these devices have always done quite well. Reason enough to take a look at the latest model with the catchy name U3219Q.

If the 31-inch CG319X would overfill your desk, you can also get it one size smaller. Let's see what has changed besides the diagonal.
Philips 272P7VPTKEB Short Review
When readers ask us about monitor tests, the question often comes up: “But do I really have to spend that much?” Instead of replying sarcastically, “If you want to see something, yes!”, we set out in several tests (we won't name names, but there were a few) to find a usable monitor for under 500 euros - and came across the Philips 272P7VPTKEB.
EIZO Coloredge CG319X in test
If 4K is not just 4K, and HDR is also interpreted this way and that, and the whole thing then comes in the outdated inch format, you are quickly confused as a monitor seeker. Standing desperately at a crossroads, you cry out for a wizard. Abracadabra, here comes EIZO.

New HDR grading monitor from EIZO

Monitors and recorders: Neway from China or Video Assist from Blackmagic?
The flip-out screen of an Ursa Mini Pro is very small and only offers a 2x pixel zoom despite full HD. This is not a problem in shoulder mode, as the OLED viewfinder is excellent. But the camera can do more than just reportage, and when working with a larger team you often need a larger image. In the case of expensive productions or unrepeatable events, it is generally advisable to provide a backup image, which is not offered by the camera itself. This raises the question of whether to use an inexpensive additional monitor or a combination device that also records the signals.
Dell’s First HDR10 Monitor—and More Hardware
The UltraSharp 27 4K HDR monitor (UP2718Q) has a 4K display and provides a color depth of 1.07 billion colors. Dell has also added a VR-ready workstation and an 8K monitor to its range.
