Apple introduced Final Cut Studio 2 at NAB in April 2007 and began selling it in the United States several weeks later. The German localisation is now shipping.
Final Cut Studio 2 includes Final Cut Pro 6, Motion 3, Soundtrack Pro 2, Compressor 2, DVD Studio Pro 4.2 and the new Color application. It also supports Apple’s ProRes 422 format, which the company expected new HD digital cameras to adopt.
The Apple Store listed a shipping time of 24 hours.
