n-tv.de in a New Design

The online information portal of the news channel n-tv, n-tv.de, has appeared in a new design since yesterday and is even more user-friendly. The site, which recorded proud growth of 32 percent in Page Impressions (PIs) in the first half of 2007 compared with the first half of 2006, now offers users an even clearer view of its comprehensive, multimedia range of information.

The site’s navigation was moved to the horizontal. The structure and focus of the page can now be seen at a glance.

The “Advice” and “Knowledge” areas are new, where one can find a great deal worth knowing about financial and legal topics, among other things, and learn about the latest findings from science and technology.

New structures have also been introduced within the individual main areas (News, Business & Stock Exchange, Knowledge, Advice, Community, TV, Services, Marketplace, Video), which improve the overview and thus make the site even more user-friendly. The user can quickly and easily find what he is looking for.

All the headlines and reports of the day, all picture series and all videos can now be called up from the home page with one click. The “Click Parade” shows what is read or called up most often.

The video-on-demand offering at n-tv.de was expanded further. A large number of news clips are offered on the topics of the day and collected in an extensive video archive. In this form, n-tv.de offers one of the largest moving-image offerings on the German-language web.

Integrated into the new page header is the Marketbox with current stock market prices – a tool that was already previously found in this area of the page, but has now been designed to be significantly more visually appealing.

“n-tv.de is now even easier to use and offers even more mutimedia. We are expanding our offering in a targeted manner and developing into the leading provider of current news and business clips on the Internet,” says Johannes Züll, Managing Director of n-tv.
