“For several days, visitor numbers have been rising steadily. Numerous forums and other blogs link to us and thus direct players and fans to us,” reports Daniel Große. The interests of visitors are already becoming apparent: “The GC Blog is linked above all by fan websites for the game World of Warcraft. In addition, many users want to know which stars will appear at the individual exhibitors. In the comments, visitors are demanding more photos from the exhibition halls. Even our first photos of the construction of the Sony stand caused a stir, although only a few steel structures could be seen there,” Thomas Gigold explains. The makers are pleased by the visitors’ interest. “You can sense how the scene is really building itself up. That is already impressive in the blog and will continue to increase until the trade fair,” Daniel Große is certain.
Until the start of the GC, the blog team will continue preparing visitors for the event, bring exhibitor reports and interviews, announce line-ups and provide comprehensive information about the trade fair. During the GC, blogging will take place live from the halls. As early as August 22, which is open only to trade visitors and press representatives, the GC bloggers will be present at the most important press conferences. News will thus find its way into the blog immediately and inform fans within a few minutes.
The GC Blog is produced by BlogSolution, an association of the Leipzig journalists Thomas Gigold and Daniel Große. Last year, the experienced authors already managed the GC Blog on behalf of Leipziger Messe GmbH. In April this year, they brought AMI Auto Mobil International onto the net.
