The eSports Award 2007

At the Leipzig Games Convention (August 23 – 26, 2007), Turtle Entertainment GmbH is honouring the heroes and supporters of eSports with the eSports Award for the fourth time.

On Saturday, August 25, the coveted trophy will be awarded in twelve different categories from 8 p.m. in the ESL Intel Arena. For the first time this year, Turtle Entertainment is presenting the “Lifetime Achievement Award” for special achievements in eSports. Intel, Volkswagen and Fujitsu-Siemens Computers support the eSports Award 2007.

An Academy consisting of well-known representatives of the eSports scene, the software and hardware industry, game manufacturers and the media world decides on the winners. In three categories, the eSports fans choose the prizewinners themselves. The eSports Award journalists’ prize honours the work of “classic journalists” who report on the subject of eSports in a particularly differentiated and objective way. Crowning conclusion of the festive ceremony with laudators and a selected audience: the big eSports Award Players Lounge.

“The eSports Award honours the great achievements of eSports players and recognises promoters and supporters in editorial offices, associations and industry. Here the industry takes its hat off to the decisive eSports minds of 2007.
