Turner Broadcasting System Europe agreed to distribute programming through Dailymotion in Europe.
CNN International material was scheduled for hourly updates in Dailymotion’s news channel. Adult Swim supplied clips from Robot Chicken, Frisky Dingo and Aqua Teen Hunger Force, while Nuts TV contributed entertainment programming.
The agreement extended Turner’s content distribution to a non-linear platform outside its conventional broadcast channels. Dailymotion positioned the licensed material alongside work from its Motionmaker creator programme.
Motionmaker had more than 1,800 members worldwide at the time and was designed to promote selected contributions from Dailymotion’s creative community.
