The iLive-T series is based on the successful iLive digital-mixer range and offers the same functionality, while remaining a genuine lightweight at a highly attractive price.
The iLive-T series comprises the iDR-32 and iDR-48 MixRacks and the iLive-T80 and iLive-T112 control surfaces with a CAT5 ACE connection, or Audio Control Ethernet. Either MixRack can be combined with either control surface, and all models are compatible with existing iLive mixers.

It offers the same outstanding processing performance, DSP algorithms, and functionality as the iLive products. We are delighted that we can deliver the same breathtaking audio performance in a much smaller device at a fraction of the price, opening digital technology to a new target group,” explains Allen & Heath managing director Glenn Rogers.
Using the iLive 64×32 RackExtra DSP mix engine, both T-series MixRacks provide signal processing for up to 64 channels, 32 mixes, and eight stereo effects processors. The systems use the latest dual-core DSP technology and process all dynamics, equalization, and delay for every signal. This ensures, for example, that each of the 32 mixes has both a 30-band graphic equalizer and a parametric equalizer.
The compact 4U iDR-32 MixRack provides 32 mic/line inputs and 16 outputs, while the 6U iDR-48 offers 48 mic/line inputs and 24 outputs. The iLive-T80 and iLive-T112 control surfaces add eight inputs and eight outputs or 16 inputs and 12 outputs respectively. Combined with the MixRacks, they therefore provide sufficient capacity for typical PA applications ranging from 40 inputs and 24 outputs to 64 inputs and 36 outputs.
A key element in the development of the T series is Allen & Heath’s patented ACE connection, which provides a cost-effective point-to-point control and audio link between the MixRack and control surface over long distances using a single CAT5 cable. An expansion slot supports alternative audio-networking options such as EtherSound, with MADI and Aviom interfaces planned for the future. An integrated network switch and MIDI ports at both ends allow remote control using laptops, touch controllers, and MIDI devices. The T series is compatible with Allen & Heath’s PL-series remote controllers and with iLive Editor software for configuring and controlling the system online or offline.
The T-series control surfaces use the iLive fader channel-strip layout with four layers per bank and assignable color-coded channel IDs. Above this is a large channel-processing section giving instant access to all key parameters. Familiar controls based on an analog layout help new users find their way quickly in the world of digital mixing. An integrated touchscreen provides an additional graphical overview of signal processing and access to memories and system configuration. All settings can be transferred by USB.
