The updates include expanded raw-data support for nine additional camera models, including the Canon EOS 450D and Nikon D60. The Lightroom 1.4 update also offers updated printer-driver compatibility for Apple Leopardä Mac OS X 10.5.
The Camera Raw function in the Adobe Photoshop software products Photoshop Lightroom, Photoshop CS3 and Photoshop Elements is intended to provide fast, easy access to the latest raw image data formats produced by many professional and midrange digital cameras.
Working with these digital negatives is intended to enable greater artistic control and flexibility, while always retaining the original raw data. Photoshop Lightroom and the Camera Raw plug-in offer the same function for TIFF and JPEG files.
The Lightroom 1.4 update and Camera Raw 4.4 plug-in support nine additional digital cameras: the Canon EOS, Fujifilm S100FS, Nikon D60, Olympus SP-570 UZ, Pentax K20D, Pentax K200D, Sony A200, Sony A300 and Sony A350.
