The new Camileo Pro HD records video at 1280 × 720 resolution. Despite the increased performance, the multifunction camcorder retains the compact dimensions of its predecessor. A 120-minute HD recording time gives beginners room for test shoots without immediate capacity concerns. After recording, the integrated HD output and included HDTV component cable allow the device to connect directly to an HD television for 16:9 playback.
High-Resolution All-Rounder: Toshiba Camileo Pro HD
The Toshiba Camileo Pro HD also functions as a still camera, mobile voice recorder, e-book, and mass-storage device. Its five-megapixel still-image resolution works with a 3× optical zoom and autofocus. The camcorder uses a CMOS sensor. A macro focal range supports close-ups from 5 cm. Content can be reviewed on a 2.4-inch LCD. Films, photographs, and voice recordings are stored in 128 MB of internal memory, expandable to 32 GB with SDHC cards. The HD output and Mini-USB interfaces connect the camcorder to HDTVs, notebooks, and AV equipment. An additional lithium-ion battery and charger are available for the Camileo range.
Availability and Warranty
The Camileo Pro HD is available now at a recommended retail price of €199. The optional lithium-ion battery and battery charger cost €20 each. Toshiba provides a two-year manufacturer warranty on all options.
