NIIT Technologies, a global provider of IT solutions, acquired SofTec GmbH several weeks ago. SofTec specializes in revenue-accounting and flight-operations services for airlines. Founded in 1982 and based in Reichenschwand, Bavaria, the company has been a wholly owned subsidiary of NIIT Technologies Limited since March 2008 and will be integrated into the German structure over the medium term.
