Aiptek International is expanding its product line with the “MyNote Premium II” input device. The digital MyNote Premium II notepad is a 4-in-1 multifunction device: for writing and drawing, saving in digital form, use as a conventional graphics tablet, and as removable storage.
Notes are written and saved offline on the MyNote writing pad. Standard A4 notepads are used. All information can be saved directly to selectable digital pages. The built-in 32 MB memory holds up to 100 written pages and can be expanded with an SD card.
Subsequent additions are possible at any time by selecting a specific page on the LCD display. The particularly slim pen is supplied with two types of refill: a ballpoint refill and a special refill for graphics-tablet use. The refills are easy to change and are stored in a side compartment of the device.
The work surface measures 8.5 by 11 inches and is suitable for A4 paper. Individual sheets or whole pads (maximum 13.5 mm / 135 sheets) can be attached to the MyNote Premium II.
The MyNote Premium II connects to a PC or notebook by USB cable, allowing stored data to be transferred. The supplied software makes operation simple. A battery-status display indicates battery charge; a full set of batteries lasts about 20 hours.
When used as a graphics tablet, the MyNote Premium II is simply turned around and the writing pad removed. The work area is then 216 by 280 mm in 4:3 format. MyNote Premium makes not only image editing easier, but also opens unlimited creative applications in many areas.
MyNote Premium II is now available in Germany at a price of €129.
The package includes: MyNote; protective case; writing pad; MyNote pen; replacement ballpoint refill; replacement refill for graphics tablet; USB cable; four AAA batteries for the digital notepad; ZA13 zinc-air battery for the pen; and software CD.
