The new Super eGo desktop storage model combines 1 TB of capacity in one hard drive and is now available worldwide in ruby red, midnight blue and jet black. Its design is based on Iomega’s popular eGo portable hard-drive range, one of the company’s best-selling drive product lines. The eGo Portable was available in capacities of 160 GB, 250 GB and 320 GB and in several colours, including a new camouflage model and a version with a leather sleeve. The new eGo Desktop contains a 3.5-inch hard drive with 1 terabyte of capacity and a USB 2.0 interface, and can store up to 4,000,000 photos, more than 18,500 hours of music or 1,500 hours of video.
The new 1 TB eGo Desktop hard drive is a complete, ready-to-use storage solution. It includes a licence for EMC Retrospect HD software, available as a PC-only download, for automatic, scheduled or on-demand backup.

Compatibility
The Iomega eGo Desktop is compatible with Mac OS X 10.1 or later and Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional, Windows XP and Windows Vista. EMC Retrospect backup software is available as a free download for PC only.
