Stream5 GmbH, a specialist in interactive internet TV and video-on-demand solutions, has secured DuMont Venture as a shareholder and investor. Stream5 thus gains a strong partner to advance its activities in tailored, flexible solutions for web TV, live streaming for branded entertainment, infotainment, premium VoD portals and corporate TV online. Its proprietary technology enables innovative marketing, distribution and financing models on the internet.

The full-service provider covers the entire web TV value chain, from technical applications and content distribution to video ad-server integration and transaction systems. Stream5 gives companies maximum flexibility in implementing and distributing web TV content.

Innovative refinancing through interactive advertising

Stream5 also enables advertising-funded internet TV and new business and refinancing models for marketing and distribution. Its offering primarily targets companies, publishers, agencies and website or portal operators seeking innovative online marketing opportunities. The main goal is to make brands tangible by combining video’s emotional impact with the internet’s interactive capabilities. Stream5 operates its own technical system platform and content delivery network, allowing it to distribute full-screen video worldwide in brilliant quality without playback delays. Stream5 customers include O’Neill, Beck’s, Marc O’Polo, Autoscout24 and Game-TV.
