BenQ presents the new MP622c DLP projector, which at 2,200 ANSI lumens and a contrast ratio of 2,000:1 is even brighter and offers more contrast than its successful predecessor, the MP620c.
With an XGA resolution of 1,024 x 768, it delivers brilliant projections for business use. Its minimal operating noise of 26 dB(A) in ECO mode is barely perceptible, making it ideal for presentations in medium-sized to large conference rooms or classrooms. Its piano-black housing also makes the device visually striking. The MP622c will be available from specialist retailers from early July 2008 at a recommended retail price of 749 euros including VAT.
Brilliant images are produced by the five-segment color wheel and integrated DLP BrilliantColor™ chipset. This ensures that at high brightness, colors within the sRGB color space appear considerably more vivid and true to life, especially mixed colors of 50 percent or more. Thanks to independent color management, users can also control red, green, blue, cyan, magenta, and yellow individually to coordinate color nuances and saturation.

Every element, down to the smallest component, was developed to minimize projector noise. A sophisticated ventilation system also ensures an optimal device temperature, extending lamp life and reducing operating costs.
Thanks to its compact dimensions and low weight of 2.5 kg, the BenQ MP622c is also suitable for mobile use. Wall-color correction eliminates the need for a special projection screen. Up to six colors can be selected on the device so that the projection can be matched to the surface, producing a faithful image without a color cast. The projector has four preset PC modes and three AV function modes.
The warranty period is 36 months, including a loan unit during the first 12 months. BenQ provides a warranty for the lamp of six months or 1,000 operating hours from the date of purchase, whichever occurs first.
