Europe’s largest computer-gaming league is providing the newly established SBK 08 section as a platform for every player enthusiastic about racing motorcycles and interested in competing against others.
Alongside a conventional opening tournament, ESL will organize two additional challenges. High-quality prizes await the best drivers in the racing series, including a Sennheiser PC 161 headset and an ASUS P5K motherboard. Further details about the challenges are available in the SBK 08 section of the ESL website at http://www.esl.eu/de/sbk08.
SBK 08 brings the current Superbike World Championship season into the living room. The game places the highest priority on realistic conditions, allowing players to select every current circuit and motorcycle and enter the season directly.
Several different game modes ensure enjoyment for both beginners and genuine motorcycle professionals.
“Anyone who has always wanted to know how a 1,000 cc machine behaves when driven around a racetrack will find SBK 08™ essential—it is pure excitement,” says Alexander Albrecht, Director of Publisher Relations at ESL operator Turtle Entertainment. “Even without years of rider training or a racing license, gamers can take up the challenge in ESL and compete against one another immediately in our tournaments.”
“SBK 08 combines authentic racing with plenty of driving enjoyment and action. Players can experience a genuine racing atmosphere in multiplayer mode. In the challenges, up to eight riders compete on the track to determine ESL’s best driver,” says Matthias Mirlach of Codemasters.
SBK 08™ is available now for PC at a recommended retail price of EUR 39.99, Xbox 360 at EUR 59.99, PlayStation 2 at EUR 29.99 and PSP at EUR 39.99.
