For many years, KINDERMANN has been one of the leading suppliers of multimedia and conferencing technology. The distributor is now expanding its portfolio into a rapidly growing market segment: audio conferencing. Kindermann is relying on high-quality IP conferencing products from YAMAHA in this new segment.
Against the backdrop of globalization and the internet, more and more decision-makers prefer audio conferences for organizing meetings quickly and easily—whether with internal or external employees, partners or customers. Audio conferencing offers numerous advantages: meetings can be organized more quickly, costs can be reduced significantly, and the technology is simple and flexible to use. For specialist dealers, audio conferencing is an ideal tool for demonstrating their expertise in project business and opening up new sales opportunities.
The hardware used is crucial to good voice quality and optimum results. It should be as easy to operate as a telephone, but unlike a conventional speakerphone, it should be tailored to the conditions in a conference room and efficiently filter out disruptive echoes.
YAMAHA audio conferencing features a variety of solutions designed specifically for practical use and tailored to the number of conference participants. The PJP-25UR, for example, was developed as a small portable solution. Its fold-out microphone arms accommodate the actual seating arrangement around a conference table, and it has been optimized especially for team meetings in conjunction with web-conferencing software.
YAMAHA’s large conferencing systems can be scaled almost without limit. The round PJP 50 is a classic conference telephone supporting both analogue telephone and (Vo)IP connections. It is suitable for audio conferences with up to 10 participants. For larger groups, it can be cascaded with up to three PJP 100 H units. The PJP 100 H can, of course, also be used independently for IP audio conferences with or without a PC.
“We looked at the market for audio-conferencing systems and, after extensive research, chose YAMAHA,” said Michael Fries, sales director at Kindermann. “The company, the products and above all the quality convinced us: YAMAHA’s sound and filtering of reverberation and ambient noise were excellent.” Kindermann will therefore become the first distributor to offer YAMAHA audio-conferencing systems for the German market. Kindermann’s field sales team will begin presenting the entire product portfolio to interested specialist dealers immediately.
